Notice of Revisions to the Tokyo Metropolitan Accommodation Tax System and Our Handling of the Accommodation Tax

For nights up to and including March 31, 2027

How we will handle the accommodation tax
Until now, our room rates have included the Tokyo Metropolitan Accommodation Tax. Because of the change to the system, from the night of April 1, 2027, the tax will no longer be included in our rates and will be charged separately.
For any night on or after April 1, 2027, we will collect the accommodation tax at the front desk at check-in, even if you check in before April 1. *Some package tours are exceptions.
