Notice of Discontinuation of “Signature-Based Identity Verification” for IC Credit Cards
Thank you very much for your continued support of Hotel Asia Center of Japan.We have received an announcement from credit card companies that,
starting from 1st April, 2025, the "PIN bypass transaction" (=allowing customers to skip entering their PIN and complete the payment with a signature) will no longer be available.
After this date, a PIN (4-digit) will be required for all IC credit card transactions.
As signatures will no longer be accepted for identity verification and payment,
please ensure that you know your PIN in advance.
If you do not know your PIN, please contact your credit card issuer for assistance.
※Note: In some cases, a PIN may not be required depending on the transaction amount.
